How to calculate wall panels and full packs
Estimating wall panels needs three things: wall area, each panel's usable dimensions and pieces per pack. A per-piece price cannot be entered as a pack price when a pack contains several pieces.
Measure the area to cover
A rectangular wall 4 m wide and 2.7 m high covers 10.8 m². Measure separate wall sections without overlapping them. Doors and windows do not always reduce the panel count in proportion to their area: full panels may still be needed to cut around their edges.
Example: 70 × 77 cm panels
A usable 70 × 77 cm panel covers 0.539 m². With a chosen 7% reserve, the target area is 10.8 × 1.07 = 11.556 m². Dividing by 0.539 and rounding up gives 22 panels by area alone. The straight grid needs 24 panels before reserve; adding 7% and rounding up gives 26. Enough total area does not guarantee that offcuts have the dimensions needed elsewhere.
| Pack size | Packs to buy | Panels received |
|---|---|---|
| 1 panel per pack | 26 | 26 |
| 10 panels per pack | 3 | 30 |
If a ten-panel pack costs VND 250,000, the example cost is 3 × 250,000 = VND 750,000. This is an illustrative price, not a product quotation; enter the price for your selected variant.
Usable dimensions and matching direction
Overlapping edges, joints or patterns can reduce coverage below the outside dimensions. Use the manufacturer's stated effective coverage. A remnant rotated sideways may be unusable with directional patterns even if it has enough area.
What the estimate covers
Draw the wall elevation in 2D, edit corners or enter dimensions directly on the 3D model. The tool fits panels to the outline, reuses compatible rectangular offcuts and rounds up to full packs. Choose “Print / save PDF” for placement and stock cutting diagrams. This assumes freely cut panels without locking-edge constraints or saw kerf; check the product’s fitting requirements before installation.
